《爱丽丝漫游仙境》是一部严重被高估的电影,而之所以被高估,主要是因为本片的导演蒂姆伯顿.这是一位在全世界影迷心中都很有人缘的鬼才导演,他的电影素来以汪洋恣肆的想象力和奇诡曼妙的造型而著称,人们似乎有太多的理由希望蒂姆伯顿能够在将自己的影像风格融入这部在西方流传100多年的床头故事中时,能够奉献给我们一个不一样的仙境王国.但从最终呈现的效果来看,至少我是失望了.
《爱丽丝》的故事是原著的后传,但基本上与原著中的情节和人物是对应的,也没有成人化的企图,正邪双方的较量仅停留在一个过家家的水平上,因此所谓奇幻大片的宣传策略基本上在忽悠人了.本片在北美市场上票房连续三周夺冠,其中很重要的原因也应该是本片能够吸引大量的对爱丽丝这个童话人物从小就耳熟能详的成人偕同对故事有特定要求的儿童一起观看.应该说蒂姆伯顿在造型上还是保持了一贯水准的,如红皇后、孪生肥仔、柴郡猫等人物形象都令人耳目一新,而且城堡和园林的黑色哥特造型都让人想起他的早期经典作品《剪刀手爱德华》的辉煌.问题在于这本来是很简单的姐妹情仇的故事,但情节线的推动极其繁琐冗长,掺杂了大量的无关人物的互动,正邪力量的交锋反而被淡化了,以至于影片的前一半我们对人物行为动机还一直处在蒙昧状态,以至于到最后层层包装的故事内核终于显现出来时,观众在走神与困倦的折磨下已经疲态尽现了.
我觉得更重要的问题出在3D特效上,作为一部普通的缺乏动作性的绿幕电影,《爱丽丝》在3D效果的呈现上很牵强也很多余,只停留在景深的层次营造上.而且我看的是普通3D,画面很暗,字幕也有点飘忽,很长时间进入不了状态.因此这里建议观众,如果要看3D请选择IMAX或双机3D,或者就干脆看2D的,对于《爱丽丝》这部电影来说,放弃3D效果没什么损失.普通的单机3D现在确实已经成了鸡肋,希望3D电影的热拍能更快地带动3D放映设备的更新换代吧.
《爱丽丝》可以算作借《阿凡达》的余威霸王硬上弓的3D电影,借势捞钱的意图很明显,如果观众还带着《阿凡达》的回味和感受进入这部电影的话,失望是难免的.其实在特效上的失败不仅是在3D上,很多的细节处理都很粗糙,比如爱丽丝刚进入兔子洞后身体几次变化的一场戏,身材和周围环境的参照比例失衡,该有的画面冲击力根本就没出来.因此,尽管用了很多的包装手段,但是由于本质上的肤浅和粗糙,无论是从故事还是技术层面,《爱丽丝》都是一部失败的电影.蒂姆伯顿最后一部让我感动的电影是《大鱼》,从《僵尸新娘》之后,他的创作一直深陷在技术的泥淖之中.
如果说有谁在一定程度上部分挽救了《爱丽丝》,那就是红皇后的扮演者、伯顿的妻子海伦娜·伯翰·卡特,尽管被造型成了一个畸形的大头娃娃形象,她的表现力仍然很抢眼,看过后影片中唯一记住的一句台词就是红皇后重复了几次的“把他砍头”,实在是太可爱了.影片另外一个强大的号召力来自蒂姆伯顿的黄金搭档约翰尼德普,德普扮演的疯帽子在这里不算绝对的主要人物,出场也比较晚,然而最后的那一段舞蹈秀还是挺让我惊艳的.但是我觉得德普《爱丽丝》的演出还是不太在状态,以他目前如日中天的地位,出演这样一个毫无挑战性的小丑形象,友情的成分应该更大一些吧.还有就是,安妮海瑟薇在这里太丑了.
